GAUGE

What is Gauge (GG)?

Gauge (GG) refers to the number of needles per inch on a knitting machine.
It determines yarn thickness compatibility, fabric weight, texture, structure, and overall garment character.

Higher GG → finer, lighter fabric
Lower GG → chunkier, heavier fabric
